Like I said, "I don't know a lot of Lakota words." The words that I know, which are probably in this song, are: maku (in your heart), winyan ki(woman/women), blihiciya po! (take courage!). I know a lot of words to the second one, but the tricky part is putting them together so they are coherent. Keep in mind, the Lakota language sentence structure is different from the English sentence structure. |
