If you look at where the 30-06 round went through it hit slightly below the only crack in that area of the glass. I doubt that one crack wich was probably only in one of the panes would make much of a difference. The .50 cal. hole isn't anywhere near where the 30-06 round entered. The 308 on the other hand...

Bullet proof glass isn't designed for high powered rifles. That's why vehicles transporting important personel tend to use many layers. Some bullets are also designed for penetration ane others are designet to expand. An FMJ solid point round out of an ought six may very well do the job in this case. Miitary armor piersing rounds often use tungstten carbide tips. Does anyone know what their ammo selection was for the 30-06 and 308?

i completely agress, once the cracks are that spread out the entire glass frame is weakened.

my dad was at a lumber yard and they had some bullet proof steel shit for US war ships, it was either metal or glass. but they where shooting it with a 9mm and no shit was happenin so he went home and got his .308 and it went right through that shit

the .308 didnt "almost kinda go through" not even close, the glass was totally compromised after being shot by the .50 and the .30-06. the .50 cal was the only round that made it.
