I retract my previous comment, I did alot of research inspired by your video, I decided to get my own double edge razor. It is a vintage Gillette Tech razor. I cleaned it, gave it a try, and I am impressed, it was more comfortable, I felt no tugging and it sounded much cleaner.I am uploading a video of it now, any help to find the era which it is from would be greatly appreciated.

scott78246- I think as long as you have a decent lather the strip does very little good.

what are you thoughts on the aloe vera strip on some commercial mach3 blades? do you think they help?
