I think you should be fine. I use sugar because I only use malt extract. You used grains as well, so you don't need as much sugar, or any at all. If however it is week, you know to add more malt extract, or a couple cups of corn sugar. Your beer might be a little on the light side, but it will still taste great, and you can adjust on your next batch.

Craig tube, I actually just got done brewing my first ever batch of wort, its sitting in a 2nd bathroom. I added no sugar, I followed the "Good Eats" recepie, am i looking at a low alcohol brew, or is it gonna be O.K., any response is good, this is my first time, correct the virgin!

It's basically the same process, although check the instructions. There may be a different way of handling the yeast.

Craig, Have you tried brewing darker beers or do you stick with the lighter ones? Just wondering if there was a difference in procedure. I am more of a dark beer fan myself. Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to post these videos Craig. I'm just beginning my home brewing process and this has been a big help. Don't listen to the guys that are just trying to get a rise out of you. I doubt they are even of legal age to drink a beer. And if they are...they sure aren't acting like it.

Hey. Any home brewing store will carry it. That's where I got mine. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Hi CraigmanWhere did you obtain that particular type of bottle rinser please. Is there a brand name on it?

I believe that that beer tastes better out of glass, being as non-reactive as it is. I have used plastic as well.. but will always put the better brews in glass. It chills better, stays cooler longer etc.

Thank you. May I ask why you choose glass. I just would like to hear people's opinion on this. Thanks.

Good video, enjoyed it. I prefer to bottle in glass though.
