Oh yeah and btw there is 6 guys to kill total. heli guy: easy. jigsaw : easy. ninja: medium. tank guy: hard. kingpin really hard. Just remembered that I couldnt use a gamegenie on this game since I had to use an adaptor on instead to play it. It was a us game original and I live in the eu.

He I beat the game today was borred (kingpin was hard, lucky I had 5 lifes) . I got it when i was 10 :). My old nes doesnt work to well any more so it was on an emulator.

There are also two levels where the player isn't allowed to get 100% shooting accuracy, even if all of the regular level enemies have been shot. This seems to have been a deliberate attempt on the part of the game's designers to make the game even harder. There are ways to get around it though. I am hoping to post a video of a complete play through to show you what I mean. Kliegg Stage 2 and Assassin Stage 1 only allow for a 99% shooting accuracy.

That's okay, most people don't, because the bonus levels actually prevent the player from being able to acquire it. I noticed that when every enemy is shot during the bonus levels, it will state that enemies have been missed, even if that isn't the case. Just a cheap way of screwing us over basically.

That is an honest review and I agree with it. The Punisher is a good game, albeit repetitive and long. It could have definitely used some more music other than that horrible saxophonist crap. I'm surprised that you didn't bring up the super gun at all. This is by far the most powerful weapon in the game and sounds a lot different than any other gun. It can only be acquired after the player manages to take out every enemy on the screen for a 100% shooting accuracy though. |
