Ok, to clear up any questions regarding PCIe 2.0, heres an excerpt from the manual⎯ Supports PCI Express GEN2 frequency of 2.5 GHz resulting in 5.0 Gb/s eachdirection (1000 MB/s total). Maximum theoretical bandwidth on interface of 8GB/s in each direction simultaneously, for an aggregate of 16 GB/s whenoperating in x16 mode.16GB/s is the data transfer rate of PCIe 2.0 so yes it does support it. Also supports 8GB/s PCIe 1.0.
