It is true that you can stay very healthy in the way that you do, but unfortunately, you are a rare turnout. Veganism is all-around healthier IF, and only IF you do it right.

Aminul,I'm glad your diet is working out for you (and about looking young, I've been told the same thing actually!).I am still willing to bet that cutting out meat will make you healthier. As long as you're eating a variety of food!PS: Increasing one's heartrate everyday is very important. Keep it up.

Aminul,I like your attitude (respectfully disagreeing). My feelings though, are that someone who thinks plants have a life should DEFINITELY be vegetarian. By growing cows, we are killing many more plants than if we were eating the plants directly.

Actually I care about my body too, I exercise everyday and eat a balanced meal, I don't like eating too much meat, more vegetables is better, but meat is needed in the body to stay healthy. People tell me I look like as if i'm 18 but i'm 24.

Did you know that even plants have a life as well, they also cry. Ask any scientist and they will tell you. Everything in this world has a life, we don't be cruel to animals, I don't like cruelty to animals as well, like hunting. They kill the animal for not reason, sacrificing an animal is different, we all need to eat, I know we can eat veg but there are some essential vitamins needed by humans from meat. However, I respect your belief but I don't agree to it.

ESP1EMG:Everyone's different. I've met very few evangelical vegans, but some people imagine all vegans to be that way.Same with any other group of people... but we've all got stereotypes or prejudices. It's about overcoming them; if you don't, you will miss out on making a lot of cool friends who didn't fit that stereotype.

Aminul,I like how you said "nearly all" instead of "all," but I think most vegans are healthy-looking. The reason, probably more than "they are vegan," is "they care about their bodies and watch what they eat."But because they care about their bodies, they cut meat out.

pff aminul1984... that guy looks pretty healthy to me... just because he's not kissing his biceps in the mirror doesn't mean he's too skinny. does Carl Lewis look anorexic? Go Vegan! I ate meat for nearly 30 years, and I should have changed much earlier, it's fantastic!
