My guess is that they left the camera rolling while doing each scene and then picked the correct frames from the recording to use in the editing software. I am currently working on a rather large stop motion project in which I've been using that technique (which I believe to be a much faster and easier method than taking endlessly many still photographs). But believe me, this is still hard work! |
