wow, it was great to see that again! I watched it when it was broadcast as well and it really did blow everything else away!!! Agree with previous comment that this is by far the best version, I bought the video after, but this is the one that gives me the shivers.

In 1994, my partner and myself were watching a rather lacklustre Eurovision Song Contest, when, during the interval, Riverdance did their amazing performance; we were riveted to the spot! Riverdance deserved twelve points from every country that year!

Actually still get chills when watching this! Moved to Australia back in '94 from Ireland and still up to this day i'm showing all my friends this video! My favourite (by far) performance of Riverdance. the original. i hate all the new stuff but this, I will ALWAYS love!

Do be proud. Eurovisions come and go... but this performance has riveted itself to my memory. I saw the show as it was broadcasted and it was truly magnificent. And the crowd's reaction just adds to the whole thing. I simply cannot get enough of this, especially how they start serene and gradually ramp the intensity higher and higher until the explosive finale where the growd goes nuts. *This* is how you make a memorable performance... the best of the best, completely out of the blue and go BAM!
