Amazingly, Tullamore and Phoenix were the songs that hooked me too! At age 15, they were my attitude adjustment after work before heading out.

It's amazing; I got hooked on Fogelberg in the exact same musical order (Phoenix, Souvenirs, Caputred Angel). Everyone who hears me play these CD's loves them and I've inadvertently sold some Fogelberg CD's as a result of people hearing me play his music.

It is still hard to believe he passed. Jeanne has been kind enough to update some photos on Dan's website...there is a great photo and explanation of Dan ice skating (after his dx and treatment). He looks really great in it..even though he was weakened. Take a look. Greg

These two songs from the Phoenix album made me get hooked on Dan to begin with. Once I caught up with Souvenirs and Nether Lands and Twin Sons Of Different Mothers, I was hooked for life.I can't believe how Dan was able to play and write bluegrass, hard rock, R&B and classical with the same intensity. And he could sing better than most artists too! Dan's passing is a loss I cannot fathom.

According to the VHS bootleg of this concert that I bought off ebay, it was filmed in Houston. Not sure about the year, but it was probably within the time window you mentioned.
